Featuring 44 parts, the NPxxx line of thyristors provides surge protection of telecommunication circuits in modems, residential gateways, and central-office access equipment. Rated to 50, 80, and 100 A in voltages from 64 to 350 V, the bidirectional devices limit voltage and divert surge current to ground.
