TIDA-00617 is a Class 4 High-Efficiency Driven Flyback Converter (5V/5A) for PoE PD Applications Reference Design

The TIDA-00617 reference design by Texas Insturments uses the TPS23751 Power of Ethernet PD controller in a high-efficiency sync flyback converter capable of 5V at 5A.

The design has 93% high efficiency with the converter, and a test report is included with the device.

Additional TI devices included in the reference design, beyond the TPS23751, include the CSD18504Q5A, a  40V, N-Channel NexFET Power MOSFET, and the TLV431A. a low voltage adjustable precision shunt regulator.  

Worth noting: TIDA-00617 is IEEE802.3.at compliant. Its primary application is for Power over Ethernet projects.
