The VFRC-A1 frame rate converter and LCD timing controller IC targets the large-size LCD TV market and allows manufactures to offer superior picture performance by reducing motion artifacts such as blur and judder.
The exposed TQFP144 packaged device supports 1020 x 1080 resolution and has a 75 MHz maximum LVDS input frequency. The chip has overdrive and gamma correction functions, along with a spread spectrum clock generator and programmable timing of output signals. ($15 ea/sample qty – samples available now.)
