Tiny accelerometer works at high temps reliably
Able to operate reliably from –55° to a high of 177°C, the Endevco model 2226C piezoelectric accelerometer has a typical sensitivity of 2.8 pC/G and exhibits excellent output-sensitivity stability over time. The sensor, which is designed for accurate vibration testing of smaller structures and objects, can be easily installed with adhesives within space-constrained environments.
The accelerometer measures a mere 9.52 (hex) x 8.4 mm overall, and weighs just 2.8 g, which minimizes mass loading. Requiring no external power for operation, the device features a top-mounted 10-32 receptacle for a low-noise, flexible coaxial output cable, which is included. (From $500 — available now.)
