The ISL99201 Class D amplifier and ISL99202 stereo capfree headphone amplifier are available in 9-bump WCSP and 8-lead TDFN packages, and 12-bump WCSP and 12-lead TQFN packages, respectively. The filterless ISL99201 can deliver up to 2.5 W into a 4-Ω load and features a low-noise modulation scheme, operating with 86% efficiency at 400 mW into 8 Ω, and has a SNR that is better than 95 dB.
The ISL99201 also includes a micropower shutdown mode with a typical shutdown current of 200 nA. Operating from 2.4 to 5.5 V, the ISL99202 supports 16 to 600-Ω speaker impedance. The ISL99202 has a unique input architecture that suppresses this demodulation and prevents the bursts at 217 Hz from interfering with the audio output.
