The RNM series isolated dc/dc converter measures 0.33 x 0.33 x 0.27 in. with pins that fit into a standard 0.1-in. grid. The converter provides 1-W of output power, input and output voltages available in any combination from 3.3 to 15 Vdc and 1- or 2-kVdc isolation. The ambient operating temperature extends –40° to 85°C without derating. Conversion efficiency is up to 84% and output ripple/noise is 100 mVp-p.
The converter suits isolated power supplies for industrial controllers, medical equipment, and handheld devices applications. It meets EN-60950-1 safety certification (UL-60601-1 pending).
