Tiny GPS antenna suits slim mobile devices

Designed to suit small, slim GPS-ready mobile phones, smart phones, and portable navigation devices (PNDs), the EIA 1206-size AH316M157501 GPS antenna is the latest addition to the RadiEdge line. Measuring 3.2 x 1.6 x 0.5 mm, the antenna is approximately 87% smaller in volume and 69% shorter than the previous 8.0 x 1.6 x 1.6-mm AF816M157502.

Unlike the previous model, which could only be mounted to the corner of a substrate for GPS-ready devices, the antenna allows for placement flexibility. (Samples, $3 — available now.)
