Tiny hi-rel/COT oscillator targets military apps

Claimed to deliver the industry’s highest frequency in the smallest SMD package (3,2 x 2.5 mm), the VFH3225 high-reliability/commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) oscillator offers output frequencies up to 160 MHz in the low-power CMOS output with supply voltages of 3.3, 2.8, 2.5, or 1.8 V. The device delivers frequency stability of ±50 ppm over –55° to 125°C.

The part meets the military requirements for Group A, B, or C testing in a small form factor for a wide range of military communications applications.
