The 1 x 1 x 0.3-in. V.92HM-T-W-NE modem module uses V.44 compression protocol to deliver data speeds to 56 kbits/s downstream and 48 kbits/s upstream. Standard features include 14.4-kbit/s fax, voice playback, and recording.
The modem also provides features such as caller ID, line-in-use, call waiting, remote hangup, and extension pickup detection. The unit is powered by 3.3 Vdc and consumes 60 mA online or 16 mA in sleep mode. (From $69�available now.)
