Tiny op-amps extend battery life

The MCP6401/2/4 operational amplifiers (op-amps) feature a quiescent current of just 45 µA with a GBWP of 1 MHz. Additional features include a maximum offset voltage of ±4.5 mV and a supply-voltage range of 1.8 to 6 V over the extended temperature range of 40 to 125C.

The op amps are unity gain stable and feature rail-to-rail input and output operation. The MCP6401 is housed in 5-pin SC-70,SOT-23 packages, the MCP6402 in 8-pin SOIC,TDFN, and the MCP6404 in 14-pin SOIC,TSSOP packages.
