Tiny power inductor handles 500 mA

The MLP1005M1R0D SMT 1.0-µH multilayer power inductor offers a rated current of 500 mA in a 1005 case size. The miniature 1.0 x 0.5 x 0.7-mm device is said to be the industry's smallest multilayer power inductor. The inductor is about 60% smaller than existing products.

The device has a tolerance of ±20%, a DCR of 0.53 Ω, and stable inductance to 100 MHz. Inductance is very stable with current, falling to 0.6 µH at 400 mA dc.
