Tiny SMT inductors handle up to 14.3 A

The XFL6012 series shielded power inductors are just 6.56 x 6.36 mm with a low 1.2-mm height. The mechanically rugged and magnetically shielded parts are offered in five inductance values from 0.18 to 1.0 µH with DCR from 8.12 to 25.2 mΩ and I_SAT , with a 30% drop, from 14.3 to 8.0 A.

The inductors operate from –40° to 125°C with I_RMS current, or to 165°C with derated current. I_RMS for 20°C rise is 10.1 to 6.0 A. The devices' MTBF is rated at 26,315,789 hours. SRF is from 130 to 52 MHz, and the price is $0.63 ea/1,000.
