The 7000 Series miniature, 9000 Series power, and military-qualified toggle switches use silicone rubber boots to seal the toggle switches to protect against contaminants such as salt water, lubricants, cleaning solvents, dust, dirt, and grease. Rubber boots feature a high tear strength along with a wide operating temperature range, allowing the sealing boots to remain pliable in cold-weather applications.
The silicone rubber boots are available in full- and half-boot versions to fit all 15/32-in. bushings as well as a full boot to fit all 1/4-in. bushings. ($1 to $1.50 — available now.)
