Tool allows EDA product integration
EDA Bridge is an integration tool that allows the sharing of database
files and messages across different EDA systems. It comprises three
products: a database manager, a library manager, and a message server.
The database manager allows the user to read in all data–which ranges
from netlist information to routing specifications–from each supported
program. The library manager is a creation program as well as an ASCII
import system, and the message server has the ability to transmit as well
as receive messages from applications. Currently, the software is being
supported by companies such as PADS Software and Autodesk, and runs under
