Top five products for the week of Oct. 14

Test and measurement topped last week’s hot products list with a new spectrum analyzer, motor drive analyzer, and arbitrary function generator, along with LPDDR4 ECC DRAMs and a new pre-provisioned hardware-based IoT security platform

Test and measurement instruments ruled last week’s hot products ranking. The one thing that all three instruments — a real-time spectrum analyzer, a motor drive analyzer, and an arbitrary function generator —had in common is that these instruments deliver significant performance improvements. The spectrum analyzer added advanced analysis capability at a lower starting price to give test engineers access to advanced functionality not previously available to them due to cost. Significantly easing dynamic power analysis, the motor drive analyzers offer increased channel counts, memory, sample rates, and bandwidth. A new software plugin for the arbitrary function generator enables double pulse testing in less than a minute. With error correction code (ECC) capability becoming increasingly important across applications that use LPDDR4 memory, including industrial and automotive electronics, engineers took interest in the new LPDDR4 and LPDDR4X DRAMs with integrated ECC that operate over the industrial temperature range. IoT designers, looking to simplify the implementation of secure authentication, reviewed a new pre-provisioned hardware-based IoT security platform that provides secure key storage for all sizes of deployments, from large to small, via three-tier options.

Check out the five product stories for the week of Oct. 14 below:

1. Real-time spectrum analyzer delivers advanced analysis at a lower price
