The LDS6003, LDS6005, LDS6023, LDS6025, and LDS6028 touch controllers are optimized for operation at 1.8 V, consuming less than 200 μW in full-power mode, enabling implementation of capacitive touch inputs in portable devices without the need for low-power modes that introduce first-touch latencies. The LDS6003 and LDS6005 offer 6 and 10 touch sensor inputs, respectively, while the LDS6023, LDS6025, and LDS6028 offer 6, 10, and 15 touch sensor inputs, respectively.
Smooth visual transitions are facilitated by 32-step dimming at the 8-mA maximum current level. Integrated features include STS (strongest touch selection) to prevent inadvertent touches, TIP (thresholds individually programmed) to empower customers in optimizing end-product touch sensitivity according to individual preferences, and AAC (automatic ambient compensation), which automatically optimizes touch responsiveness according to environmental changes such as humidity and temperature.
