Touch-panel controller is PC/104-based
The PC/104 touch controller adds PC/104-based plug-and-play capability to
the company's line of modular touch frames for both CRTs and flat-panel
displays. Available in either a 5-V-only or a 12-V version, the
frame-independent controller connects to the touch frame via an eight-wire
cable with an RJ connector. The interface to the PC/104 bus is via a
selectable I/O address. An optional selectable hardware interrupt may also
be configured to speed the access to touch data. Software drivers are
supplied. (5-V version, $139; 12-V version, $135–stock to 2 days.)
