Designed to withstand the rigors of airborne, shipboard, and mobile applications, the VME-1000 ac/dc switcher is suited for VME-based mission-critical applications from C3I and tactical military hardware to data acquisition, simulation, and training systems. Compliant with MIL-STE-461, MIL-STD-704, MIL-STD-810, MIL-S-901, MIL-STD-167 and RCTA/DO-160, the 1,000-W PFC device provides a standard output of 3.3, 5, and ±12 V as well as a 5-V standby.
Features include parallel operation, inrush current limiting, and short-circuit, over-current, thermal, and over-voltage protection. The fan-cooled switcher has an operating temperature range from –40° to 50°C without derating. (From less than $4,000�120 days ARO.)
