Targeting safety-critical wireless applications such as social alarms and healthcare monitoring, the SX1235 sub-GHz RF transceiver provides ETSI category 1 compliance with 6-dB regulatory margin. The part offers a low RX mode current consumption of 9.3 mA, a sleep-mode current of 100 nA,and a TX current of 28 mA at 13 dBm.

Specifically it offers 6-dB adjacent channel selectivity margin for category 1 compliance, 6 dB margin for 2 MHz category 1 blocking specification with specified SAW filter, and 10 dB margin for 10 MHz category 1 blocking specification with specified SAW filter. The transceiver also provides -12 dBm IIP3, a 1.8 to 3.7-V supply range, and ultra-fast frequency hopping. ($1.95 ea/10,000 — available now.)
