Transformers handle 200 A max

The CT07 and CT08 current sense transformers use a nanocrystalline core to increase the current rating and frequency range over similarly sized devices. Used in ac/dc converters, motor drives, telecom power supplies, and power supplies for high power, they are suitable for frequencies from 40 Hz to 200 kHz.

The CT07 features a maximum current rating of 200 A, while the CT08’s has a maximum current rating of 50 A. Both use a tombstone package to match competitive footprints and have a hi-pot rating of 3,760 Vac. (Average pricing, ea/1,000: CT07, $1.61; CT08, $1.51 — available now.)
