The 2805TR and 2806REC fiber-optic transmitter/receiver pair transmits TTL-formatted signals across fiber-optic cable at distances of up to 10 km. The devices have a data rate of dc to 20 Mbits/s with a typical bit error rate of 10-9 .
The transmitter emits at 820 nm (1,300 nm optional) using an LED with an output power of 10 μW at 100 mA. The receiver has a minimum sensitivity of 1 μW at 820 nm (1,300 nm optional).
