Triple LED indicators simplify production of RoHS SMT boards
Available in a variety of color combinations, they also take up less space on pc boards
The 593 series Tri-Level Prism round-lens indicators employ LED technology specifically designed for surface mounting and compatibility with both automatic placement equipment and RoHS reflow soldering processes. The ten initial versions, which include single-, tri- and bi-color combinations, also take up less space on pc boards than competitive indicators.
Tri-color indicators are available in red, green, and blue, while bi-color devices are offered in red-green, yellow-green, and yellow-red combinations and custom color combinations also are available. Single-color indicators are available in red, yellow, green, blue, and white, as well as ultrabright red, yellow, and green.
The high-contrast black housings meet UL-94V-O flammability ratings and illumination areas are compatible with industry-standard, 3-mm through-hole, tri-level circuit board indicators. Units come in two package formats– five pieces per moisture-barrier (IPC/JEDEC J-STD-033, moisture-sensitivity level 2) bag and 150 pieces per 13-in. pick-and-place reel.
