The TClamp1201S 12-V, 15-pF TVS array is designed to protect high-speed xDSL line drivers against overvoltage caused by ESD, cable discharge events, and lightning. The device features a 6-pin flow-through package design that offers flexibility in routing traces and facilitates either common mode or differential configurations.
In addition to ADSL and VDSL applications, the protection device can be used to protect RS-232 serial ports. Pb-free and RoHS- and WEEE-compliant, the TVS array meets protection standards such as IEC 61000-4-2 (ESD) ±15 kV (air), ±8 kV (contact); IEC 61000-4-4 (EFT) 40 A (5/50ns); and IEC 61000-4-5 (lightning), 20 A (8/20).
