The Data Bank GCCA/GCAM Series high-speed, high-density cable system is designed for applications requiring very high density and superior signal integrity. Available in SMT or panel-mount orientations, the 100–Ω differential pair twinax ribbon cable comes in a 30-AWG size and is terminated with the company’s Edge Rate contacts and Direct-to-Lead cable termination technology for optimized signal integrity.
The cable system is available with one or two banks, with four chicklets (dual-row) containing eight signal pairs each for a total of 32 or 64 pairs. Additional features include bank holders with finger-actuated locking clips, combination guide pin/locking posts that solder to the PCB, and a tool for repositioning the chicklets.
