UART8000-U: A US-to-TTL Conversion Module

UART8000-U is a 150cm converter cable that converts from USB to 3-pin TTL so that users may implement debugging on BeagleBone Black easily and quickly. It is also suited for serial communications at TTL voltage level or debugging on other development boards.

UART8000-U uses a high-performance FDTI USB-to-Serial chip FT230X which comes with USB protection capability. FT230X supports 300baud to 3Mbaud data transfer speed and has a 512byte transmission buffer and a reception buffer of the same size which allow a high data throughput by using buffer smoothing technology.
