UHF chip family targets car access systems

Designed for very low-power, high-range wireless and car access systems, the sub-1-GHz CC11x1-Q1 UHF device family consisting of transmitters, receivers and transceivers does not require external filters, switches or voltage-controlled oscillators. Features include an easy-to-use SPI interface, a typical receiver sensitivity up to –114 dBm, programmable data rate from 1.2 to 250 kbaud, and a temperature range up to 125°C.

Available in 32-pin QFN packages, these devices are pin-to-pin and software compatible, allowing easy migration from unidirectional to bidirectional systems with a simple software upgrade. (From $1.10 ea/100,000 — available now.)
