Combining a 50-kHz ultrasonic sensor with integrated drive electronics, the 600 Series Smart Sensors can sense from 6 in. to 35 ft with a beam angle of 15°. The voltage-regulated sensor operates with an input from 6 to 30 Vdc and can be externally triggered or set in continuous-sense mode at 5 Hz.
The TTL-compatible device features monostable and astable operating modes and has low-ring characteristics. Additional features include open-collector inputs with pullup resistors and an integrated oscillator. (From $35 ea/500�available now.)
