UL listed for use in Class I to III, Division I, hazardous locations, the RPS-409A-IS intrinsically safe ultrasonic sensors can detect presence, proximity, level, volume, and distance in ranges from 4 in. to 18 ft, depending on model. The sensors need no setup adjustments or calibration.
Sensors have a 0 to 10-V linear analog output and can be used with analog cards to set system resolution. Each has an IP-68/NEMA-6P-rated PVC enclosure, a –40° to 140°F operating range, and an LED to indicate presence or absence of a target. (Contact Dave Sheets for pricing and availability.)
