Employing a direct coupling topology to facilitate easier board layout, the HV738 and the HV748 ultrasound pulser ICs combine logic-control circuitry, level translators, MOSFET gate drive buffers, and high-current high-voltage outputs in a 48-lead QFN package. Both ICs feature built-in output drain bleed resistors, up to 20-MHz operating frequency, and matched delay times.
The four HV738 outputs are specified at up to ±65 V and ±750 mA source and sink current each in pulsed-wave (PW) mode. The HV748’s output voltage is specified at ±75 V and output current is specified at ±1.25 A source and sink each in PW mode. (From $10.80 ea/1,0004 to 6 weeks ARO.)
