Unit switches dual ESCON fiber-optic lines

QuickSwitch 6278 dual-channel ESCON fiber-optic network switch has two single-throw switches for on/off operation. The unit uses MEMS-based mirror switch technology and supports gigabit data rates. Both channels are switched simultaneously via a front-panel pushbutton.

The switch ports are transparent to all data, and switch positions are maintained on power loss. All ports are ESCON, multimode, 62.5/125 micron fiber and support a wavelength of 1,300 nm. ($2,540 — available now.)
