Universal BGA fits 0.8-mm pitch packages

Designed for 0.8-mm-pitch DDR2 and DDR3 memory packages ranging from 7.5 to 15.5 mm, the SG-BGA-6292 Universal BGA socket operates at bandwidths up to 8 GHz with less than 1 dB of insertion loss. The PCB-mounted sockets have a replaceable IC guide for each package size, and connects all pins with 8-GHz bandwidth on all connections.

Per pin, typical contact resistance is 20 mΩ with a 2-A current capacity. Specifications include ppn self-inductance of 0.11 nH, mutual inductance of 0.028 nH, capacitance to ground of 0.028 pF, and operating temperature range of –35° to 100°C. ($360 — available now.)
