Universal Mobile Keyboard works with iOS, Android, and Windows devices

Microsoft’s mobile keyboard can work with tablets that are 10 mm or thinner.

Although today’s tablets and smartphones are more powerful than ever before, typing on a small, virtual on-screen-keyboard can be inefficient. They’re great when you’re on the go, and most people carry multiple devices and use the one that’s best suited for what they’re doing, such as using an iPhone while sitting on a plane, or browsing on their Windows laptop while in a hotel room. But with different devices comes a mixture of operating system platforms, which results in having to carry different accessories for each device.

To address this issue, Microsoft introduced its Universal Mobile Keyboard, which works with iPhones, iPads, Android devices, and Windows tablets.

This keyboard’s goal is to help you complete everyday tasks and projects when you’re on the move. You can easily build a presentation, zip through emails, put together a proposal, or simply instant message with a friend. The keyboard comes with an OS switch that allows you to change from one operating system to another while maintaining a fully-functional keyboard.

Built with portability in mind, this keyboard is quick and easy to set up. All you have to do is open the protective case cover and the keyboard will automatically turn on, and connects using Bluetooth. When you shut the cover, it instantly turns off. To keep things comfortable, the cover comes with an integrated stand that can be detached, so you can position your tablet how you want it.
