The D1000 modular power solution suits military, industrial, and commercial communications and control systems that are powered from vehicle batteries or static telecom supplies. It offers up to 1,000 W of dc output power and operates from 11 to 36-Vdc input and offers 12- and 48-Vdc outputs with up to 85% efficiency.
The power solution is based on two F501 full-brick dc/dc converters that have a patented integrated magnetic technology that combines the transformer and inductors for the converter on a single assembly. A custom-developed boost-converter is integrated into the design to provide input voltage boost when conditions require it.
