Update refines Diamond FPGA design tool

Version 2.0 of Diamond design software for Lattice FPGAs adds support for ECP4 devices, aids rapid design timing closure, and unveils a new, partition-based incremental design flow. The package allows multiple versions of a design within a single project for easy design exploration.

It also allows mixing of Verilog, VHDL, EDIF, and schematic sources and has functions for constraints, timing analysis, power calculation, and hardware debug. Integrated HDL code checking capability saves time by analyzing a design prior to synthesis. (Basic licence free, subscription license $895 – available now)
