UPS line targets industrial use in harsh areas

The expanded SSG Series Industrial UPS product line features a rackmount and tower family that span power levels from 1 to 6-kVA. The line addresses industrial and process control applications. They carry UL 1778, UL 508, cUL listings and CE certification, and provide code- compliant operation from -20° to 55°C.

Designed from the ground-up for rugged industrial applications, the SSG family is a single-phase, on-line, double-conversion UPS and specifically designed to provide industrial-grade power to equipment deployed in harsh environmental conditions such as oil and gas, process control, wastewater treatment, chemical production, as well as bridges and tollways. The family also features hot-swappable, double the average, 10-year rated backup batteries when installed in a 25°C environment. When installed in an extreme 50°C location, projected battery life is four years.
