A 78–W ac/dc input with an internal battery, the GS-480 UPS delivers up to 50 W of continuous output power while charging a Li-ion battery (12 V, 6 Ahr) up to 38 W at 12.6 V. The 10 x 4.25 x 2.2-in. UPS offers single or dual dc-regulated outputs and accepts 85 to 264-Vac input or 9 to 18-Vdc input. It provides a Class B EMI filter, and has built-in overcurrent, short-circuit, overvoltage, and overtemperature protection.
The battery charger functions include overcharge, overdischarge, and overtemperature protection, and switches over to battery backup without interruption.
