Intended for use in demanding industrial and commercial applications, the FN Series UPS Plus double-conversion on-line system is a scalable platform that can deliver from 3 to 24 kVA. With a base configuration that operates from a 208 to 240-Vac single-phase input, versions of the system are available providing an isolated 208 to 240-Vac dual-wire plus ground or 240/120-Vac split-phase three-wire plus ground output.
When the units are configured in parallel (communicating via a proprietary high speed serial bus) one can add an extra UPS for true n + 1 redundancy. The user-replaceable and hot-swappable internal batteries can be replaced in a few minutes and extended battery packs and chargers are available as an option. (From $3,889—available now.)
