UPSs combine n + 1 options, hot-swappable architecture

Nine new models of the SmartOnline UPS System offer power capacity from 12 to 20 kVA. They integrate electrical input, output, and data connections of two UPS systems via a single, detachable, parallel PDU—in an 8U rack space. The systems provide nonredundant operation at 100% capacity, or full redundancy at 50% capacity.

The UPS systems have a output power factor 0.9 and deliver 18 kW in 12 rack spaces. They operate with 97% efficiency and feature a detachable PDU with a manual bypass option that enables hot-swappable service. They feature network power monitoring and management and are available with power conditioning from double conversion operation with zero transfer time.
