The 220-Vac SSG series UPS obtained a UL listing for its CE-approved product line. These agency listings allow companies and systems integrators to install a single UPS product line that has both agency listings. The UPS operational temperature range from –4° to +131°F and suits harsh industrial, military, and IT power environments.
The UPS features hot-swappable batteries with a 10-year life expectancy operating in a 70° to 80°F environment. The battery has a four-year life expectancy in a 122°F environment. The 1.5 to 3-kVA 220-Vac models are double-conversion on-line UPSs. These units provide clean, tightly regulated, sine-wave output power even when operating from a “dirty” incoming ac-power source. The UPSilon shutdown and management software supports Windows platforms, including Version 7 and Server Version 2008 R2, as well as Novell NetWare 5 and 6, Linux, and FreeBSD.
