The PI3EQX7742 USB 3.0 re-driver and PI3EQXDP1201 four-lane DisplayPort 1.2 re-driver ICs support the latest generation of Intel based processing platforms. The devices reduce signal jitter caused by transmission line effects.

The USB 3.0 re-driver has four 5.0 Gbit/s differential signal pairs, adjustable receiver equalization, 100 Ω differential CML I/O’s, pin configured output emphasis control, and receiver detect with enable/disable. It takes only 680 mW and has auto slumber and stand-by modes. The DisplayPort 1.2 ReDriver supports up to 5.4 Gbits/s across four lanes for a total bandwidth of 17.28 Gbits/s and offers automatic power management, auto EQ adjustment, auto data-rate, support for Aux link training, and is comes in a 7 x 7 mm TQFN package.
