The USB5534 and USB5537 are 4- and 7-port SuperSpeed USB 3.0 hub controller ICs that feature programmability for performance enhancing features and the ability to support two-layer PCB designs. The ICs support 5.0-Gbit/s SS, 480 Mbit/s HS, 12 Mbit/s FS, and 1.5-Mbit/s LS signalling.
The seven port device provides four USB 3.0 and three USB 2.0 ports from one USB connection to a host. It includes features such as PortMap, PortSwap, VariSense, PHYBoost, and USB Battery Charging 1.2. The devices have an 8051 MCU, 8 Kbytes of RAM and 32 Kbytes of ROM and come in 64- or 72-pin QFN packages. Industrial-temperature-grade versions are available.
