USB 3.1 Type-C connectors mount vertically

Part of a USB connector series, the KUSBVX-SMT-CS-B30TRC and KUSBVX-SMT-CS-W30TRC are black and white insulator versions, respectively, of a vertical mount USB 3.1 Type-C female port connector. The vertical mounting option minimizes the connectors' board footprints.

The connectors support the 10-Gb/s data rate of USB 3.1 Gen 2, yet are backward compatible with USB 2.0 and 3.0 specs. The units have a 5-A current rating for VBUS, surface mount contacts, and are individually rated for 10,000 mating cycles.
