The compact, USB-powered DT9838 acquisition module offers high-speed performance for strain, load, pressure, and other bridge-based measurements. Able to sample analog inputs simultaneously at up to 52 ksample/s, the module offers four 24-bit ∆-∑ ADC channels, up to 10-V internal excitation, and full-, half-, and quarter-bridge completion with direct sensor connectivity.
Available in pc-board form as well as in a metal enclosure, the daq is compatible with transducer electronic data sheet (TEDS) smart sensors. Up to four daq modules can be synchronized through their RJ45 synchronization connectors to expand the number of channels, and drivers and Windows XP/Vista/7-compatible software are included. For turn-key-measurement applications, a 14-day-trial version of the VIBpoint Framework software application bundle is available. (Packaged, $1,795; board version, $1,745 — available in July.)
