The TEK-USB standard enclosure for USB dongles, thumb drives, wireless transmitters, and other OEM applications has a snap-together design that captures the USB PCB assembly in the enclosure, which is secured with a soft-touch protection ring around the middle. A separate cap is supplied to protect the protruding connector, and there is also an LED light pipe on the cover for indicating device activity and a recessed area on the bottom for labels and markings.
With prices starting at $8.43, the USB enclosure is available in one size: 2.28 x 0.98 x 0.40 in. The intermediate ring is made of LARIPUR 8020 thermoplastic polyurethane, and the standard enclosure is molded in white/light gray Novodur P2H-AT plastic, but custom colours can be supplied in minimum orders of 500 units. Customizing options also include CNC machining, RFI shielding, flame retardant material, metallic printing, soft-touch coating, soft-look coating, wood effects, and more.
