UV-curable epoxy meets NASA outgassing specs

Meeting low outgassing specifications as per NASA ASTM E-595, the UV10TKLO-2 UV-curable, modified epoxy system suits a variety of optical, electro-optical, and vacuum applications. Outgassing properties are optimized when the epoxy is preheated to 50C for 15 min prior to use and then allowed to cool to room temperature.

The high-viscocity epoxy’s maximum UV absorption is in the 320 to 365-nm range. It has a volume resistivity of ≥1,014 Ωcm, dielectric constant of 3.6 at 60 Hz, and service temperature range of –60° to 300°F. The epoxy comes in half pint, pint, quart, and gallon containers.(Contact James Brenner for pricing and availability.)
