V-feedback amp lowers power for portables

Consuming only 460 µA of quiescent current per channel, the OPA2889 voltage-feedback amplifier features a bandwidth of 115 MHz and slew rate of 250 V/µs, suiting it for portable instrumentation, active filters, and ADC buffers. The device also includes a power-down feature, enabling even further power savings by reducing the quiescent current to 18 µA/channel when not in use.

Housed in SOIC-8 and MSOP-10 packages, the OPA2889 offers a single supply voltage range of 2.6 to 12 V or dual-supply voltage range of ±1.3 to ±6 V and provides an output swing of 8 Vp-p and output current of ±40 mA. ($1.35 ea/1,000—available now.)
