The AEC Q200-qualified MAV Series miniature 0402-size dual element ac multilayer varistors are designed for use in low-power ac circuits. The devices feature low insertion loss, can clamp large transients in a bidirectional manner, and is said to have unsurpassed EMI/RFI attenuation in the off-state. They can withstand multiple transient strikes, and meet space and weight constraints critical for use in automotive applications.
The devices deliver a 110-V peak-to-peak value at 125-kHz waveforms when the contact ESD 25-kV is superimposed on the human body model. Also available in 0603 single-element and 0405 dual-element packages, the RoHS-compliant devices are AEC Q200 qualified with PPAP documentation available.
