VCOs offer low phase noise,wide tuning range

Suited for radio applications, the MAOC-009871, MAOC-009872, and MAOC-010334 VCOs feature an integrated buffer amplifier, operate with a case temperature at or below 85C, and allow for a MTBF of 2,500,000 hrs. With a 5.0-V bias supply, these VCOs operate between the 8.4- to 11.8-GHz frequency band. Tuning sensitivity (at RF port) is 0.18 GHz/V for the MAOC-009871, 0.19 GHz/V for MAOC-009872, and 0.14 GHz/V for the MAOC-010334.

At 100-kHz offset, the MAOC-009871, MAOC-009872, and MAOC-010334 feature a phase noise of –113, –112, and –115 dBc/Hz and a supply current of 185, 165, and 168 mA, respectively. Packaged in a lead-free, 32-lead PQFN package, the VCOs also offer an output RF port power of 7 dBm for the MAOC-009871, MAOC-009872 and 10 dBm for the MAOC-010334.(Contact company for pricing — available now)
