The V8F/V8M family of ultra-low-jitter VCXOs is suitable in applications such as backhaul transmission, fiber infrastructure, Gigabit Ethernet, PLL applications, T & M, and networking. The VCXOs are also pin-for-pin replacements for the Epson-Toyocom TCO-2111T products.
Low rms jitter is accomplished by using high-frequency fundamental crystals for the frequency range of from 50 to 250 MHz (0.4 ps typ) and an analog frequency multiplication scheme for the range of 100 to 800 MHz (0.6 ps typ) with frequency pullup at ±150 ppm. Additional specs include a supply voltage at 3.3 V ±5% and typical frequencies, such as 122.88, 153.6, 155.52, 245.76, 320.00, 491.52 MHz, and others.
