Vector processor runs at up to 200 MFLOPS
The SC-3XL/VME SuperCard is a 6U VME64 board that runs at up to 200
MFLOPS. It uses two of Intel's 50-MHz i860 XP processors, and has up to 64
Mbytes of DRAM, and an I/O data-transfer rate of up to 200 Mbytes/s. The
memory controller allows for cache coherency, bus snooping, and parity.
Three independent I/O channels are available with DMA, a 72-Mbyte/s VME64
interface, a 40-Mbyte/s VSB interface, and a 200-Mbyte/s proprietary CSPIO
interface. Software support for Sun Microsystems and Silicon Graphics is
